ISABELLA Gallant
Musical Theatre, JFH, Tap & Jazz
With more than a decade of experience, Isabella has worked hard to fulfil the highest creative expression of herself as a passionate performer and choreographer. From its South Coast inauguration in 2012, Isabella refined her formal training under the guidance of Cherie Kowe at KC Dance Company. In 2015, she received the inaugural Anita Alcorn Memorial Scholarship and the following year, was the recipient of the Most Outstanding Senior Dancer. Isabella has completed her A.D.A tap and jazz exams to Gold Star, consistently receiving honours and honours with distinction.
Isabella graduated from Nowra High School in 2017 where she received the Senior Trophy for Outstanding Performance in Dance and obtained a Band 6 in HSC Dance, with a call-back nomination for composition. Isabella represented her school at the South Coast Regional Dance Festival and State Dance Festival and was also a member of the Southern Stars Performing Company.
Outside of dance, Isabella receives vocal and performance training from NIDA Alumni Jillian O’Dowd. Her musical theatre credits include The Little Mermaid (AMTC 2017), Heathers (TPAC 2021) and Chicago (TPAC 2022). Most recently, Isabella performed the role of Tanya in Mamma Mia! (CST 2022) for which she received recognition for outstanding individual performance at the CAT Awards 2022. In the realm of musical theatre, Isabella is the resident Choreographic Director at Centre Stage Theatrics. She was the director of choreography for Disney’s Moana Junior (TPAC 2021) and Disney’s The Little Mermaid Junior (TPAC 2022), reprising this role for Shrek: The Musical (CST 2023).
Outside of the arts, Isabella recently graduated from a double degree Bachelor of International Studies/Bachelor of Laws. She is looking forward to re-joining the KC Dance Co family, helping her students to refine their passion for dance and performance.
